As the title implies, the journal will cover issues regarding politics and foreign policy during the era of the Turkish republic. Relevant articles in the fields of political science, international relations, history, economics and others will be considered. The journal will be edited by Barry Rubin. Associate editors will include: Prof. Bulent Aras, Fatih University: Reviews and documentation Prof. Gamze Avce, Bosphorus University: Turkish-European relations Prof. Ali Carkoglu, Bosphorus University: Elections, voting behavior, political parties, quantitative methodology. Prof. Bilge Criss, Bilkent University: Modern Turkish history Prof. Kemal Kirisci, Bosphorus University: Turkish foreign policy toward the Middle East and the United States. All issues will also include book reviews, documentation, and reviews of recent periodical literature. We will seek listing in the International Political Science Abstracts, Social Science Index, the Public Affairs Information Service, and other relevant indices.
