NIMR, the National Institute for Medical Research, is seeking a temporary Assistant Librarian, to start late June/early July 1999 for 2 months (with possible extensions for longer). If interested, please contact Frank Norman (at the address below) in the first instance. ====================================== The MRC National Institute for Medical Research, (NIMR) undertakes a broad spectrum of basic medical research from neurophysiology to molecular structure, from developmental biology to mycobacteriology. The Library & Information Service meets the research information needs of NIMR staff, providing a range of journals (printed and electronic) and information tools such as Medline, Science Citation Index and Current Contents. Following a recent retirement, a temporary Assistant Librarian is needed to carry out the following duties: Provide support for users of Medline (both OVID and PubMed versions), of the BIDS-ISI service, BIDS-Embase service and Current Contents. This may include assisting users with searches, giving tutorials, and carrying out literature searches on users' behalf.
