One of my users is interested in escherichia coli and carriers. She is
interested in learning about what interventions or treatment should be
established for known carriers. In other words whether known carriers should
be treated (and what treatment should be offered) and whether it is worth
while
treating carriers of escherichia coli even though they may not manifest any
problems themselves.

I have tried locating some material, but have come up with nothing. I can't
identify any useful articles on this subject and wondered if anyone knows of
any research into this subject or can point me in the right direction to
obtain information.

Many thanks for your help
