With just two weeks to go, UmbrelLa 5, The Library Association's bi-ennial event for all its 22 special interest groups - is having yet more prestigious meeting announcements. Replacing Alan Howarth will be Chris Smith, Secretary of State for Culture, for the UmbrelLa Opening Plenary (16.30 Thursday 1 July) when a major policy statement is expected.
