NEHO-HISTÓRIA CALL FOR PAPERS Núcleo de Estudos em História Oral (NEHO) - Universidade de São Paulo, Brasil, invites you to send proposals for articles and reviews for our Journal, NEHO-HISTÓRIA. The deadline for that will be May 24th, 1999. The central objective of the Journal is to open a forum for debates concerning to oral history. The thematic for following number: 1) illiteracy; 2) social movements; 3) methodological and theoretical aspects of oral history. RULES FOR ARTICLE SUBMISSION (Languages: Portuguese, English and Spanish) 1. Manuscripts have to be submitted printed in triplicate, along with a floppy disk containing the computer file (IBM-PC format; MS-Word document or compatible). 2. Articles: not exceed 20 sheets double-spaced throughout (30.000 characters) along with an abstract in English (up to 10 lines) and key words. Book reviews are to be up to 3 sheets in length. 3. Reference: formatted obeying the following rules: - inside the body of the text, in parenthesis, author’s last name followed by date of publication and page number. e.g.: (Weber, 1982, p.49); - bibliography should be in a single list at the end of the article ordered by author’s name.
