Geochemical news? The Geochemical News! The Geochemical News is the newsletter of the Geochemical Society, which also issues Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta. The status of the Geochemical News is in the process of being enhanced via more frequent publication and expanded content. Therefore, an Editorial Board has been created, consisting of Neil Sturchio (Argonne National Laboratory) as Editor and six Associate Editors, being Ken Johnson (Texas Tech University), Yoko Furukawa (Naval Research Lab), John Lenhart (USGS-Menlo Park, WRD), Mitch Schulte (NASA Ames Research Lab), John Hanchar (University of Notre Dame) and myself. Do you have a conference announcement, preferably 3 to 6 months prior to the abstract deadline? Do you think that a certain topic deserves our attention or feel that a certain senior scientist (from any geographic location), who has had a significant impact in one or more fields of geochemistry, should be highlighted? Do you have other ideas of a generally geochemically interesting nature?
