Film and Philosophy: Special Issue
With section on the films of Woody
Allen

Film and Philosophy, the journal of the Society for the
Philosophic Study of the Contemporary Visual Arts, seeks essays on themes
relating to film for its next issue. Submissions should use film in a
significant way in order to support philosophically interesting claims. This
issue will contain a special section devoted to the work of Woody Allen. Essays
should be no longer than thirty pages double-spaced, inclusive of notes. Two
copies of the finished essay, a disk indicating the program used, and an
accompanying abstract of 100-150 words should be sent to the editor of the
