Alan Since Sweden is in the EU I believe that the student needing dialysis should be able to obtain a certificate for reciprocal health care for pre-existing conditions which mirrors the E111 most of us use when we go on holiday in the EU - which covers new conditions. Check with the Department of Health policy people, or the Central Bureau for Educational Visits and Exchanges on 0171 486 5101.
