Here at the University of Teesside all car parks are controlled by a parking pass and badge system. This has a cost to both staff and students. However the university does not charge a fee to those students with an orange badge. There are several disabled bays around the university and the university has its own system for dealing with none disabled users who park in these bays. For those people who have to pay the cost works out at about stlg1.00 per week. Compared to the local pay and display car parks this is very reasonable.
