Hi cris,

actually it *does confuse the issue or could  - it's a worthwhile point,
more than worthwhile, but I wouldn't want it to cloud billy's point

the message i responded to was speaking only of uttered performance it
seemed to me

whereas to try to integrate you and billy - arrogance on my part perhaps  -
the object containing, representing, bearing the poem / text of the poem, is
the performance or physical manifestation of the performance

or the making of it is

as well
