Karine, are you going to do fieldwork for this thesis? It strikes me that it would help to flesh out a lot of the issues that are being touched on in this thread. It would probably be fairly easy fieldwork to do, as well, since most new parents are very forthcoming about their experiences (whether you want them to or not -- and I'll plead guilty to that myself).
