my little pickaninny", which my mother and all my aunts used to siing,
adding various expressions from Yinglish ("Mommy's gonna spank you if you
don't - patch, patch patch...."
By the way, does anyone know whether there is a digest version available for
this list? I did send the question to the address specified in the
instructions, but so far no answer.... Judith
