Dear List Members, I am a Senior Lecturer in the newly formed Division of Travel and Tourism Management, in Newcastle Business School, a Faculty of the University of Northumbria. I specialise in arts marketing, which I have lectured on since 1993 on the University's Pg. Dip. in Arts Management Course. My emphasis has been on theatre and museums marketing, theatre management being on my CV. My current research interest is in Cultural Tourism and Heritage / Arts Marketing, I am working on a title on literary cultural heritage with Dr. Mike Robinson, Director of our Centre for Travel and Tourism.. As a former Lecturer in Danish Studies at Newcastle University I am also a specialist on Hans Christian Andersen (in particular his travel literature and tales, and his work for the theatre), but that, to coin a phrase, is another story, perhaps to be told at the bar at a future conference somewhere.
