Revenue Grant Lottery Workshops 2000

A series of repeat workshops has been planned for 2000. These one-day
workshops are aimed at helping participants develop the core structure of a
project application and in particular to support those who feel daunted by
the application process and who would value some hands-on support to get
them started. The workshop programme in 2000 is as follows:

Venue Date
National Railway Museum, York 22nd February 2000
Public Record Office, London 17th March 2000
Powys County Hall, Llandrindod Wells	9th May 2000
University of Glasgow, Glasgow 15th June 2000
Public Record Office, London 25th July 2000

Delegates are welcome to attend whichever workshop best meets their needs as
to location or date. Workshops are not restricted to those in the immediate
vicinity.

The workshop programmes cover: Setting the Project Framework, Identifying
the Project Objectives, Creating a Project Timetable, Locating Resources,
Budgeting and Organisational Policies & Strategies.

At the end of the workshop participants will have a partially completed
application form and should feel confident about completing it on their own.

The cost per delegate is £25. This includes a sandwich lunch, refreshments
and administration costs. Places will be limited to 12 per workshop.
Registration forms will be included as an insert in the January issue of the
Society of Archivists Newsletter. Alternatively you may wish to contact me
for an initial discussion on your project proposal.
