Biostatistician/IT support
Level 2 - 3 year FTA with possibility of

Your role is to provide statistical support in relation to a variety of
research projects on wildlife ecology, disease epidemiology and computer
modelling.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
· Conducting statistical analyses on often complex ecological and
epidemiological datasets.
· Playing an active role in the design of ecological field surveys and
experiments.
· Providing IT support for the Woodchester Park site (including LAN).
Candidates must possess a degree in the biological sciences or applied
statistics. Extensive experience in a high level statistics package -
e.g.
SAS, Genstat is necessary. Experience in the application of statistical
methods in ecological and/or epidemiological research is essential. You
must have excellent computing skills and a basic understanding of IT
systems.
You may initially be required to work at York, for which detached duty
allowance may be payable.
