                      genetic epidemiology statistician

Applications are invited from an MSc or PhD experienced statistician
 for a stimulating and varied full-time two-year appointment to work 
on the genetic analysis of cardiovascular disease. 

The post will be at the Centre for Cardiovascular Genetics at UCL 
where the statistician will be a member of the group composed 
of 28 scientists, clinicians, PhD students and research assistants.

The post is funded by a Project Grant from the British Heart Foundation 
and the statistician will be expected to apply creative analytical thinking to 
gene-gene and gene-environment interactions in determining heart disease 
risk. 

 Support is available for the genetic and the statistical aspects of the 
project. Starting salary will be £18,915-£19,869 p.a.(plus London 
weighting of £2,134) depending on age and experience.
