Dear AllStat, I'd appreciate your help on a Survival Analysis problem..... I'm trying to calculate AIDS survival times for year of AIDS diagnosis using UK data. However for years 1995 onwards, over 50% of the data is censored. Please could somebody offer advice/references on this problem. For example is there a point at which Survival Analysis becomes inappropriate due to heavily censored data? Thanks in advance....
