University of Birmingham, School of Mathematics and Statistics Two-Year Lectureship in Statistics Applications are invited for a two-year lectureship in Statistics. The successful applicant will have completed, or be near completion of, a PhD in Statistics, will be enthusiastic about the subject and have some teaching experience. The duties involved are lecturing and tutorial work, as well as contributions to research, and are to partly cover for a vacant Chair in Statistics which will be advertized in the near future. Currently, there is one professor, one reader, one senior lecturer and two lecturers in statistics. The post could be an entry-level opportunity for an intending academic statistician, or it might be filled as a visiting or as a teaching-only appointment.
