A Statistician for Clinical Trials

Position
We seek a statistician to join an expanding statistics and data
management group.  
The successful applicant will support all stages of clinical trials,
including study 
design, preparing SAS programs, liaising with data management staff to
ensure 
the quality of data, carrying out and interpreting analyses, and
reporting.  The 
candidate will be qualified to MSc or higher level in statistics, and
will have a 
strong working knowledge of SAS.  Two or more years experience in the 
pharmaceutical industry or a contract research organisation would be an
advantage 
but are not essential.  There are excellent opportunities to develop
existing skills 
and acquire new ones through training and experience, within a friendly
environment.  
  

Company
Hammersmith Medicines Research is a successful contract research
organisation 
specialising in early studies of potential medicines in healthy
subjects, and patients.  
We have extensive experience of first administration of medicines,
including 
biotechnology products.  We have 50 beds, and laboratories and offices,
in attractive, 
newly equipped and self-contained premises within an NHS hospital.  Our
staff 
of 90 includes a data management and statistics group. Our clients
include most 
of the major international pharmaceutical companies.  We collaborate
with various 
academic hospital units. Most data are generated on site.
