This is to let you know that the CVCP is planning to send out a note early in the new year to elicit information about the problems that HEIs are experiencing with the Student Loans Company. This has been prompted by concerns raised by Vice-Chancellors both at a recent main Committee meeting and in writing, and also discussion at the Fee Monitoring Group last week. In my view it is important that any problems raised are supported by specific examples, names, dates etc, since without thses SLC is not in a position to track what went wrong and what if anything needs to be changed.
