Thanks to those who replied to my email of 29 April about student exam load (2 exams on a day etc). I had nine responses, and it may help people to know that on the basis of this evidence the situation seems to be pretty much the same everywhere. So at least it's possible to say to complaining students that they are not treated any more unfavourably in this regard than their peers at comparable institutions.
