Sybil We have had the same problem here. I was told that anyone (as per new entrants) repeating part of the year or failed modules would not get any fees paid and were not entitled to any loan either. They were only eligible if they repeated the full year. unfortunately, students were not aware of this until it was too late and had already opted to repeat the failed modules only. When I spoke to the DfEE about this, they also told me that they had taken legal advice and the answer was definitely no.When I asked them how they were supposed to survive, I was told that they are now available for work!!!!
