Dear Linda We have occasionally had separate ceremonies for individual honorary graduands, who could not make it during our normal graduation period, but these have generally been fairly low-key. We will be having a separate ceremony for (four) honorary graduands this December. The actual "handing out" is the easy bit, compared to what else you can put into the ceremony to "pad it out" if you haven't got any "normal" graduands, as is the issue of getting staff / Council etc. to turn out to give a good show. I am now doing the planning for ours, so will be interested in noting replies to your query.
