I am currently reviewing the way in which we calculate our fees for external examiners for taught postgraduate courses. The model I am considering would determine the fee according to the number of students being examined as opposed to the number of modules, dissertations etc being examined. If you use my proposed method, I would be interested to know the level of fees you pay and/or any difficulties you have encountered.
