It says that "in w/c 22/3/99 a MS Windows application capable of running on W95/98/nt will be sent to all institutions sending the result of the first exercise Information required forall courses inc term start and end date etc. By 1/4/99 you will need to have returned our data by e-mail to a named address earlier release would help. Between 2/4/99 and 8/4/99 SLC will be uploading this information to a central database to be distributed to LEAs on 9/4/99. " The letter does not state that the 31/3/99 date was no longer valid. It would only appear to have been moved to 1 April. I have e-mailed [log in to unmask] today to try and find out if the programs have been sent out but as yet no reply.
