STUDENT RECORDS OFFICERS' CONFERENCE 1999 This is an advance notice that SROC will be held this year at the University of Wales, Bangor from 13-14 April. Plenary sessions will include: Student Loans Company (on the new arrangements for student support). HEFCE and HEFCW (on progression statistics) The student and the law Workshop sessions will include: The 'one stop shop' for student administration HESA TTA data provision Student profiling Alumni Meningitis in HE institutions Demonstrations by various commercial suppliers of their student records systems Cost of attending the conference will be 110 pounds As usual there will be optional provision of accommodation on 12 April and an optional activity for the morning of 13 April (further details in the conference programme). The cost of the conference including bed and breakfast on the Monday night will be 145 pounds.
