Our Laboratory Manager would like to set up a portfolio system for Continuing Professional Development, for MLSO staff, in an NHS Pathology Laboratory setting.  Does anyone have experience of this approach?  What methods of assessment can be used with this approach?  Are there any good examples of this method in other countries or other professions?  We have been looking at the new RCPath material for ideas but more would be really helpful.  Thanks, Dr Sue Walker, Salisbury, UK.
