Our obstetricians are using nitrazine paper to test the vaginal pH of pregnant women to detect amniotic fluid that may be leaking. Does any one else do this, and how do you quality control the procedure. Is there anything commercially available? Does anyone have any experience with Litmus Concepts FemExam Test card (a waived test for vaginal pH)? How about AmnioTest?
