Dear Colleagues, I would like to understand (on behalf of a friend nephrologist) how reimbursement for LDL apheresis is handled out there in Euroland. Obviously, coverage by insurance companies differs between different countries. Is treatment by LDL apheresis restricted to certain conditions (e.g. homozygous [proof required?] FH patients)? Thank you for your help in getting this information (which is not that easy to collect...). If you prefer for whatever reasons, please email me directly; I will post a summary to the list.
