CALL FOR PAPERS for Research Society for Victorian Periodicals (RSVP)
conference in London, July 20-22, 2000
"VICTORIAN ENCOUNTERS: EDITORS, PUBLISHERS AND READERS"
The 2000 meeting of RSVP will be held in London on July 20-22, 2000. The
conference title is "Victorian Encounters: Editors and Readers," and all
students, teachers, and scholars interested in publishing history and the
Victorian press are invited to participate. Internationally renowned
speakers will be featured, and there will be an introduction to the
University of London Library's collection of Victorian periodicals and a
related exhibition.
PROPOSAL ABSTRACTS , maximum two double-spaced pages on any topic relating
to the Victorian periodical press, must be postmarked by DECEMBER 15, 1999.
Conference presentations will be 20-minutes long. Abstracts and a 2-page CV
may be mailed, faxed or emailed to:
