The government has been collecting statistics for a number of years now and uses those numbers to predict outcomes (I assume in routine -- possibly in best practice). What you will find is the way that you stack up against the predicted outcome statistics. These are figures based on mortality rates. My friend sent me there to find support for a proposed protocol I am trying to get adopted at our hospital. I found support in the numbers to add to the other things I have researched and written up. Not all body systems/disease processes are available. And not all hospitals are covered, but over time we will be able to find it all. After they've got all the hospitals covered, he expects that we will be able to find the same information on individual physicians.
