Based at the University of Manchester, it is linked to collaborative sites at the Universities of Salford and York. We wish to appoint an individual with the appropriate personal qualities and professional skills to maintain and develop the library and information services. Duties will include the identification of user information needs, developing and undertaking electronic literature searches, the acquisition and internal dissemination of material and the delivery of training and education on the use of library information systems. The successful applicant with require a degree or post-graduate qualification in librarianship or information science, at least two years relevant professional experience and expertise in using electronic information systems.
