Researchers at Heriot-Watt University and Glasgow University are
developing personalised information systems for cancer patients. We are
using computer-generated text to present people with the information that
is most likely to be relevant to them at a specific stage in their illness
and treatment.

We have created an experimental system which contains some information
for patients with breast and prostate cancer. It combines personal
information about treatment etc with general information about
cancer. At the moment we have two "demonstration patients" that you
can look at, but our system can be used to automatically create such
pages given information from a medical record.

The web site is http://www.cee.hw.ac.uk/~diana/piglit/tigger.html

We would be very grateful if you could take 10 minutes to look
at the system and comment, so we can refine the system to be
more useful. (You will get a comment form when you select "quit" from
any of the demo pages).

Thank you,
