I have a quite short question. In my research on mediterranean students at
the university of Leuven, I found several persons who where known as
"prothonotarius apostolicus". This might sound like a very stupid
question, but does anybody on this list know what would be the easiest way
to start searching for biographical information about these people. I'm
staying for some more weeks in Rome, so I might be already very close
to the solution ? I hope someone can help me.
