Departing from
 1) the notion that systematic examination of discourse provides a rich
source of data for describing the complex relationships among language,
social context and the processes that underlie discourse comprehension and
production;
2) the undeveloped potential that still exists in qualitative computing.
We want to discuss in this paper some of the problems and challenges that
software developers have to address when faced with areas and themes like:
social construcionism
conditions of possibility for discourse
deconstruction of dominant discourses
subject positions
problems of reading and interpretation
criteria in discursive research etc.
