The so-called Douay-Rheims version was translated directly from the Vulgate in its standardized 16th-century form, thus not from any of the medieval versions circulating, but, as English translations go, it would be the closest to the medieval Vulgate. It is available in reprint editions for about $35.00 from TAN Books in Rockford, Illinois and is carried by various Catholic religious articles mail order companies.
