SPECIAL CITIZENS? 

15-16 October (lunchtime to lunchtime) Glasgow Central Hotel

This major conference, organised by Children in Scotland, Capability
Scotland, and Disability Scotland, will be loooking at key settings which
encourage the inclusion of children with disabilities/special needs in
society. The conference will focus on the experience of children and young
people in Scotland but will also draw comparisons with examples of inclusive
practice in England and other European countries.

As well as highlighting good practice in inclusive education, the conference
will consider early years services, out of school initiatives and the
transition into adult life.

The conference will be addressed by Brian Wilson MP, Scottish Minister for
Education and Industry.
