We have this client that presents with a history of cardiac bipass and angioplasty. He is an older diabetic client, referred to physio with a complaint of back and leg pain. Leg pain is only on the right lower lateral calf. This calf presents with decreased hair growth, edema, and cold to touch. Here's something interesting: after prolonged walking (1 hour) he has no pain. After he rests, he immediately gets more calf pain. This seems like the reverse of intermittent claudication. What do you guys think? Thanks for the insights, Kathy PT Marathon, Ontario _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
