SdG Associates and Banxia Software are jointly offering an Introduction to NUDIST 4 and Decision Explorer Workshop on the 29 and 30 June in London, UK. The workshop will assume no previous knowledge of either package. The same textual data will be used in both NUDIST and Decision Explorer to illustrate the different kinds of analysis that can be done with both of these software packages. The workshop will be hands-on. Also there are places on the Intermediate/ Advanced NUDIST workshop on the 7 and 8 July. NOTE: Decision Explorer offers a complementary way to NUDIST in analysing qualitative data. Unlike NUDIST, text is not put into the software. Decision Explorer is used to generate "maps" of ideas and to pull them together into a coherent picture to help to improve your understanding of a situation. It was originally designed to support cognitive mapping but can be used in any situation where you have qualitative information and either want to build a structure or "surface" the inherent structure in the data. It has some powerful analysis tools.
