* Leobinus or Lubin, bishop of Chartres (c. 558)
- alternated public life with periods as a hermit; took part in the Fifth Council 
of Orleans and the Second Council of Paris

* Eutychius or Eustathius (741)
- martyred at Carrhae in Mesopotamia by Muslims; his relics worked many miracles

* Matilda, widow (968)
- a noble, she left her inheritance to her sons and retired to her country 
residence; when her son Otto went to Rome to be crowned emperor, he left the 
kingdom in her charge; buried in Quedlinburg (any sermons by Jordan of 
Quedlinburg preached on her feast?)

* Jacopo, archbishop of Naples (1308)
- a disciple of Giles of Rome, he spent considerable periods in Paris before 
being named archbishop, first of Benevento, then of Naples
