RECORDS STORAGE AND SECURITY

DATE:
18TH NOVEMBER 1998

INTRODUCTION:
Organisations in all sectors are becoming increasingly concerned about
the increasing costs of storing records, and of the well-publicised
risks of loss or unauthorised disclosure of key information.
New information technologies increase both the costs and the risks, and
failing to manage these properly can have a severe impact on an
organisation's 'bottom-line' and reputation.

OBJECTIVES:
This course addresses the key storage and security issues and provides
practical advice on minimising the costs of storing records efficiently
and effectively, and on managing the information security risks.
