Telerise, an ERDF funded project, is looking for an additional information professional to assist in the development of its VantagePoints information gateway service. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to get involved with information management for the 21st century. The post is based within the Communications and Distributed Systems Group of the University's Department of Computer Science. The appointee will assist the Group Information Manager to provide and develop web based Information Gateways for specific business sectors and the IT community. There will also be involvement with developing the service model in line with the constantly changing methodology for information retrieval. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically-aware information professional to play a key role in the development of a highly visible service on the Web. The successful candidate should preferably have at least one year's relevant experience, as well as a science degree, supported by a post graduate qualification in Information Management or a related subject. ?
