The British Library's Decision:
On 22nd September, The Times newspaper carried an article
entitled:
"BRITISH LIBRARY SCRAPS FEE PLAN."
In the article, Dr Brian Lang announced that, as a consequence of more
than 1,500
adverse responses to the proposal, the plan to introduce charges would
be dropped.
This represents a victory for our campaign.
