Donor Research Analysts
North London (Colindale)
Salary  £19,074 -20,627 plus prp

The National Blood Service is responsible for the collection and supply of
blood and blood products to hospitals across the country.

The Donor Research Department is a newly established function, which is
responsible for developing and implementing analysis to ultimately, increase
overall blood collection rates. Its aim is to provide proactive guidance and
advice on blood collection potential to the service.

We are looking for two enthusiastic analysts to join at this exciting time
in our development. Using your specialist skills, you will have ample
opportunity to develop your own methodology in designing and implementing
appropriate new analytical methods.

The successful candidates will be numerate, analytical and have good
interpersonal and communication skills.  They will be fluent in the use of
standard PC software and have significant experience in at least one of the
following: relational databases, GIS or statistical software.

A higher educational qualification in a  numerate discipline is essential,
plus a year or more of experience in a relevant field.
