10 March 1999 RESEARCH IN PROGRESS and AGM Liverpool University The annual research in progress meeting will be held at the University of Liverpool. With this in mind we would like to remind all research students, and their supervisors, that the group awards a prize of L50 to what, in the opinion of the Group Committee, constitutes the best talk/poster presentation. In conjunction with the meeting, it is hoped that an electron backscatter diffraction workshop will be held on 9th March at Liverpool.
