Several people ask for what-to-do-when-I-go-away information. It's all on
the britpo webpage, but here's a message you can snip n keep, so I can
avoid repetitive message syndrome:

- *leave or *suspend, the choice is yours:

1. To leave british-poets (how could you) send this command:

      leave british-poets

as the only text in the body of a message addressed to:

      [log in to unmask]

2. Suspend: before you leave you should temporarily suspend messages from
your Mailbase lists.

Do this by sending a message to [log in to unmask] with the
command

            suspend mail all

On your return, you can resume mail by sending a message to
[log in to unmask] with the command

            resume mail all

Remember that you can use the archives to catch up on any messages
you may have missed.
