Fred has asked me to pose the following questions. He is having poems (translations) on the Cyclops published next year and is requested to write an introduction. He would like to know: 1/ 20-30 years ago a book was published in which the author pursued the real geography of Odysseus' journey home. Probably published by Penguin. Fred would love to know the details of it to save him searching the British Library. 2/ The figure of the Cyclops. Does anybody know if anyone has written about it?
