LECTURER/SENIOR LECTURER IN STATISTICS

Applications are invited from well qualified applied statisticians for
the above post.  Applicants should have an interest in the industrial
applications of statistical methods, such as design of experiments,
statistical process control or reliability.  A strong research
background or potential is required.  A senior appointment will be
available for a candidate with a good research record and/or industrial
experience.

Duties will include teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate
level.  The person appointed will also be expected to contribute to the
development of postgraduate and post-experience courses.

The Department has a strong record in mathematical statistics and in
industrial, commercial and financial applied statistics, and is looking
to expand its research and training activities with leading
manufacturing companies.

Department of Actuarial Science and Statistics

This is a continuing post will be on the Lecturer A, B or Senior
Lecturer scale from £18,500 to £36,000 inclusive of London Allowance.
