The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), Regional Office of the
World Health Organization, is offering a new publications site that
would be of interest to the members of this listserv. It includes a
variety of publications in the many areas of public health including
health promotion, communicable and noncommunicable diseases,
nutrition, and health trends.
The online catalog has all the features to make buying books quick and
easy, including a shopping cart feature so that readers can order
publications online. Payment can be made online with Visa, MasterCard,
or American Express. Many books are offered in English and Spanish and
users can order in either language.
PAHO will continue to update its online catalog so that the newest
