Many thanks to all those who suggested alternative names for "inductions". Among the names suggested or reported were: Orientation / Intro week / briefing / Welcome / Introduction to the library / Welcome programme "Reception" sounds nice but someone pointed out that it might imply [free] food! We have called our video "Welcome to the ...." and use "introduction" on publicity.
